The Gallery Restaurant & Bar offers uninterrupted views across Princes Street Gardens and famous Edinburgh landmarks. It is part of the Playfair Project; a world-class visitor facility linking the Royal Scottish Academy Building and the National Gallery of Scotland.
The restaurant is split across three tiers, defining the creation of a versatile dining space, and magnificent views for all; a large horse-shoe terracotta bar is central to the design providing a focus for the comfortable lounge area located on the top tier of the restaurant.
All our food is freshly prepared each day on site and features the finest seasonal Scottish produce, by our talented team of chefs.

Open daily 10am - 5pm
Thursday 10am - 7.0pm
The Restaurant is open daily for lunch 11.45am till 4.0pm, coffee from 10.0am, afternoon tea 2.30pm till 4.30pm and bar drinks till 6.30pm on Thursday.
THE GALLERY CAFE
The Gallery Cafe is open daily 10.am till 5.0pm.
The cafe serves hot and cold beverages, light lunches of freshly made soups, sandwiches, cakes & pastries.
